  • Review Safe Swim Defense
  • Review Safety Afloat
  • Learn parts of the Canoe
  • Learn parts of the paddle, how to grip a paddle, and the various strokes (forward stroke, J stroke, push stroke, draw stroke, and sweep stroke).

Patrol Meetings

  • Continue completing the Patrol Campout Planners including roster, duties, drivers, and proposed meals.
  • Identify the swimming ability of Scouts and classify each as nonswimmer, beginner, or swimmer.
  • Identify which Scouts require swim tests.

  • Discuss Wargames.
  • Discuss Teams (not necessary).
